Awesome UK Attractions That Are Great for the Kids

If you are looking for a family holiday or short break away then there are plenty of UK attractions that you can easily go and visit. You’d be surprised at how easy these are to get to and you don’t have to worry about getting a passport or anything else of the sort either. It’s stress-free, full of fun and it could turn into the adventure of a lifetime!

The Natural History Museum
This is the granddaddy of all UK museums. The building alone is absolutely stunning and the creative look of it is more than enough to excite both young and old. There is a huge whale skeleton in the entrance hall and you can easily spend the entire day there. There are plenty of dinosaur skeletons and there is so much for you to see too. The mineral gallery is a must and there is a cafĂ© as well so you don’t have to worry about going out of your way to find something to eat. Admission is free here but it is possible that you will experience a charge if you go for a temporary exhibit.


Bewilderwood
This is 50 acres of woodland and it is great if you don’t want to go anywhere that is commercialised. There are rope bridges, plenty of places to build a den and you can even hide out in some of the tree houses as well. The park has plenty of magical creatures and seasonal events are held annually. The prices aren’t expensive at all and it is a great way for you to take the kids out on a holiday or somewhere special.

Alton Towers
If you’re looking for thrills then Alton Towers are known for having some of the most exciting and most thrilling rides around. They have a ton of big attractions and they even have a roller coaster restaurant as well. It isn’t hard to book tickets and it is great for adults as well!

Blackpool
Blackpool is ideal if you want to spend a lot of your time in one place and there are many attractions there as well. Toprooms have a huge range of B&Bs in the Blackpool area and it is a great place for you to go and visit if you want to save some money. Did you know you can see the famous Blackpool tower from miles away as well?
