Luxury Skincare from Skinstation: A Review

Now that I'm late thirties, I have definitely noticed some signs of ageing. As much as I hate to admit it, I certainly don't look 21 anymore. Despite, my best efforts, I can see some lines that never used to be there on my forehead and around my eyes. Changes in the appearance of our skin is of course to be expected as we age, but like many others, I'm keen to ward off visible signs of aging for as long as I can. I enjoy looking after my skin and using skin products to keep it feeling nourished and to try and ward off those little signs of aging. And so I was delighted when I was offered the chance to review a product from the luxury online beauty store Skinstation.

Skinstation

Skinstation have a wonderful array of luxury skin care products and they are passionate about finding skincare solutions to help you start seeing amazing results. Their Skin Analysis tool works to assess your skin and discover your personalised skincare routine. Different skin types are all included- from dry, oily, sensitive or blemish-prone skin, there is a personalised regimen for you. You can also request a virtual skincare consultation where a skincare consultant will assess your skincare requirements and will personalise your skin care routine for you.

I was given the opportunity to select a product from Skinstation and chose the Dr Barbara Sturm Eye Cream. Being a mum of three boys with a toddler that wakes me up in the night, I often find I have dark circles under my eyes. I can also see definite signs of aging around my eyes so I have been keen to find an eye cream that will work to combat these two areas. I love applying eye cream as it feels refreshing for my eyes.

Dr Barbara Sturm eye cream helps to treat tired looking eyes. It is a light cream and aims to give you a more awakened and youthful looking eye area. The cream is suitable for daily use. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients which work to protect and repair your skin and its active omega lipids lock the moisture in. It works to reduce dark circles, under-eye bags and puffiness.

I found the cream to have a light and buttery texture which was lovely to put on. It didn't feel greasy and was absorbed by mu skin quickly- it almost feels like giving your skin a drink. With regular use the cream helped reduce my dark circles and the area around my eyes felt smooth and soft.

The cream is packaged in a sleek and stylish container which looks great. The pot contains 15ml of the cream which lasts quite a while. It retails at £100.

I really enjoyed reviewing this cream and have incorporated it into my skincare routine. I would love to try some of the other products in the Dr Barbara Sturm range too and there are also lots of other amazing products available to purchase at Skinstation. Explore the range and discover your skincare solutions today!
