Creative Crafts With Rainbow Chalk

When it comes to entertaining little ones over the summer holidays, it can be hard to think of new and exciting activities to keep them entertained. One thing is for sure, you don't need to splash the cash to keep boredom at bay as children love exploring their artistic sides by engaging in some arts and crafts, all of which can be done at home and with a minimal cost. The lovely people at Rainbow Chalk have designed this great infographic with some fabulous craft suggestions to keep little ones entertained!

My boys are now aged 3 and 6 years and love nothing more than drawing and colouring. They can often be found cutting and sticking, creating their own little works of art! Over the summer we made canvases of their hand prints. The children love doing this, they get to paint their hands in their favourite colour before pressing them down onto the canvas. What fun! And it's a lovely keepsake for us! We also made sandy footprints by painting their feet with PVA glue before firmly pressing them onto the canvas. The glue that is printed onto the canvas can then be sprinkled with sand!

We love the ideas from Rainbowchalk.com, in particular the paper bunting! Children will love decorating each of the triangles! You can even customise it in keeping with the decor of their bedrooms.
