As part of my ongoing collaboration with Femme Luxe Finery, this month I have selected some items that are great for casualwear. Like many others, in recent times, casual clothing including loungewear, co-ords and tracksuits have been the way forward. We are all spending a little more time at home these days, with many of us in the UK currently working from home, and so it only makes sense to be wearing clothing that we feel comfortable in. Since adopting comfortable clothing, I've had a hard time going back! After running around after a toddler all day, the last thing I want to be wearing, is something tight and uncomfortable.
So what items did I select this month?
First up is this stone coloured, knitted loungewear set. As you may know and will have seen from my previous posts, Femme Luxe stock a wide array of women's loungewear sets and this one is in a slightly different style to those I have reviewed before.
This Loungewear set features an off the shoulder knitted jumper and high-waisted knitted trousers and is in a delicate stone colour. I really like the neutral colour as it gives is a really casual yet classy look. The off the shoulder design of the jumper also gives it a little kiss of glamour so you could easily wear this for some laid back drinks with the girls.
Despite the loungewear set being knitted, it actually didn't feel too hot which was ideal as I don't like to overheat or feel too stuffy when I'm relaxing at home or out and about. I actually wore this for one of my yoga sessions: it was comfortable enough to not be restrictive, yet not so loose that it got in the way of the yoga moves.
The loungewear set would look great teamed with a pair of crisp white trainers for that effortlessly chic sporty look.
Next up, I selected this oversized acid wash blue long-sleeved hoodie. This is unlike anything I've got in my wardrobe so I was keen to see how I could style it. I have previously been really impressed by the selection of hoodies and sweatshirts from Femme Luxe; my oversized black hoodie from them is one of my most worn items at the moment. This is the perfect 'boyfriend style' hoodie. The sleeves are oversized and it has a large pocket, perfect for snuggling in. It's long enough in length that you can wear it as a dress and would be great teamed up with a pair of black boots. For something a little more casual, a pair of black leggings would compliment it well and again, those trusty white trainers would be a winner. The denim effect of the acid wash, gives this a really laid back style and something I've not seen in a hoodie before. The fabric is light enough to not be overbearing, yet thick enough to keep you warm.
